FLAME RETARDANT

-Brominated Flame Retardants

Brominated flame retardants (BFRs) are a group of chemicals commonly used to reduce the flammability of materials.

  • TBBA – TY CHEM TY101

TY CHEM TY101 is mainly being used for epoxy resin, polycarbonate polyester, phenol resin, polyurethane etc. also use for polystyrene, ABS, AS, unsaturated polyester as flame-retardant-additive.

  • DBDPO – TY CHEM TY102

TY CHEM TY102 is a kind of broad-spectrum, high efficiency fire retardant with the features of low additive quantity. It is widely used in rubber, textile, electronic, plastic industry etc. Especially used in polyethylene polypropylene, ABS resin, PBT resin and rubber fiber etc.

  • DBDPE – TY CHEM TY103

TY CHEM TY103 has properties of high bromine content, excellent thermal stability, low toxicity and UV-resistance. It is used in high-impact polystyrene, engineering plastics, wires and cables, insulator, elastomer and thermoset plastics etc.

  • HBCD – TY CHEM TY104

TY CHEM TY104 The Hexabromocyclododecane series, including melting point products, high melting point products and thermal-stable products, are mainly used for EPS (Expanded Polystyrene, reference dosage 2% HBCD), Polypropylene Fibers ( Reference dosage 2% HBCD, 1% Antimony Trioxide), XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) and other Styrene resins, which can better demonstrate its excellent performance. In addition, it can be used for the plastic flame-retardant additives such as HIPS, PP, cable material, polyester fiber, acrylic fiber, polyester fiber, polypropylene and other polycarbonates, also is applicable to the coatings, textiles, adhesives, styrene-butadiene rubber, epoxy resin and unsaturated polyester resins for flame-retardant treatment.

  • BT93W – TY CHEM TY105

TY CHEM TY105 is mainly used in polyolefins,high-impact polystyrene(HIPS),thermoplastic polyesters(PBT,PET,ETC.),polycarbonate and elastomers. It has outstanding thermal and UV stability. It is also non-blooming and has excellent wet electrical properties.

  • FR245 – TY CHEM TY106

TY CHEM TY106 is a proprietary, additive flame retardant. The combination of aromatic bromine and cyanurate provides high FR efficiency and good thermal stability. A major use of FR-245 is in ABS and HIPS. FR-245 combines good UV, impact and flow properties. It is non blooming.

  • BDDP – TY CHEM TY108

TY CHEM TY108 is an additive flame retardant containing both aromatic and aliphatic bromine. BDDP is suitable for polyolefin(PP, PE) and styrenic resins and it is especially recommended for UL-94 class V-2. It is also applicable in class V-0 polypropylene. BDDP is cost efficient and allows good physical properties of the resin to be maintained

  • BPS – TY CHEM TY109

TY CHEM TY109 is particularly suitable for engineering plastic applications such as polyesters(PET,PBT,PCT)and polyamides(nylons). Due to its thermal stability, it can often be used where other flame retardants fail to survive. Due to its polymeric structure, it is nonblooming in all applications. Excellent electrical properties provide yet another reason to choose this flame retardant for demanding engineering plastic applications

  • BC52 – TY CHEM TY113

TY CHEM TY113 is a brominated, aromatic flame retardant for thermoplastic resin systems. BC-52, a white powder, offers excellent thermal stability, UVstability and color in the final part. BC-52 is a suitable flame retardant in PBT, PET, PET/PBT blends, PC, ABS, ABS/PC blends, Polysulfone, and SAN. The UV stability of BC-52 allows it to be formulated for applications subjected to indoor fluorescent and casual outdoor sunlight exposure. BC-52’s high purity allows its use applications requiring excellent electrical and thermal properties

  • BC58 – TY CHEM TY114

TY CHEM TY114 is a brominated, aromatic flame retardant for thermoplastic resin systems. BC58, a white powder, offers excellent thermal stability, good UV stability and color in the final part. BC58 is a suitable flame retardant in PBT, PET, PBT/PET blends, PC, ABS, ABS/PC blends, Polysulfone and SAN. The UV stability of BC58 allows it to be formulated for applications subjected to indoor fluorescent and casual outdoor sunlight exposure. In addition, BC58’s high purity makes it a solid choice for applications requiring excellent electrical and thermal properties.
